This Program prepares Students to confidently handle projects in the mechanical engineering, design and consultancy areas. Students receive intensive training and thorough skills. On completion of the Program, students acquire competency and skills to work as design engineer / mechanical engineer or draftsperson.
The need for personnel with mechanical engineering skills continues to rise not only in the manufacturing sector but in service and consultancy industries as well. In manufacturing sector alone, mechanical engineering skills are in demand in companies engaged in the production of automobiles and parts, consumer durables, machinery and equipment and metal fabrication etc. However, new immigrants, despite having necessary mechanical engineering qualifications and experience, continue to difficulty in finding jobs which relate to their background., the main reasons being lack of Canadian education and Canadian work experience. With the help of our Mechanical Design Diploma Program , our Graduates have found jobs in their own career path related to mechanical engineering. Thus, a large number of new immigrants have enormously benefited in terms of landing on mechanical engineering jobs matching with their career goal.

Student has an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, OR
Is 18 years of age or older on or before the program begins AND can pass a qualifying test that has been approved by the Superintendent.
